BIOGRAPHY

Beth Kathriner holds a B.F.A. in Painting (1994) and an M.A.T. in Aesthetic Education (2001) from Webster University. She has been teaching art in St. Louis, Missouri in public schools since 1994 and currently teaches art at the high school level.

Her personal artwork reflects a love of layering surfaces with texture and color. Having worked with representational subject matter for many years in paintings and drawings, Beth Kathriner's recent work has left recognizable subject matter behind to focus on these elements. She has created several series recently that incorporate her photography along with paint, paper and other found materials.
